Head down, nose to the grindstone, don’t look up, don’t think about how much time is left, just knit.
That’s been my motto for the last week or so. I know it’s Monday because DH went back to work today. Otherwise, I haven’t really looked at the calendar. These days, it’s typical of me to not know what day it is with a very busy toddler around, but right now, I’m actively trying to avoid it.
If I really take stock in what I’ve done, I’m really doing well. Let’s consult my master list…. I have cast on the next-to-last project and am almost halfway done with it, I have five projects to sew pieces on, one to block, two to felt (which includes the one I’m working on) and one left to start (that I’m going to have to get yarn for.)
Oh, wait… I keep forgetting about that one. But it’s a quickie. I should probably jot that down on my master list so I stop forgetting it.
So, all of that and I have … nine days. *deep breath*
I’m going to go knit.
You are so talented Abby, yes…deep breath
I really think I’m doing good, and I probably even have a little bit of wiggle room, especially since DH is off starting Thursday. It’s all the pieces on those five that are going to drag me down.
You can do it. It always looks crazy at this time but I know you will finish. Hang in there. Can’t wait to see you!
I think you’re right, but I don’t want to get over-confident! ha ha!
Yes, Sharon is right, you will get finished. You can do it!
